Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Plenora (the “App”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We only collect what is necessary to provide and improve the service.
2. Information we collect
Account data: a device identifier for anonymous accounts, and basic profile fields (name, email, avatar) if you link a social account. Nutrition data: food entries, macros, goals, and weight history you record in the App. Diagnostics: anonymized crash reports and performance metrics.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to power the tracking experience, sync across your devices, and keep the App reliable. We do not sell your personal information to third parties and we do not use your nutrition data for advertising.
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored on our servers and cached locally on your device. We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls. No system is 100% secure; if we detect a breach affecting you, we will notify you as required by law.
5. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to host infrastructure, deliver authentication, and collect diagnostics. These providers process data only on our behalf and under contract. If you sign in with a social provider, their own privacy policy governs the information they share with us.
6. Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. Use the Delete Account option in Settings, or email support@plenora.app. Depending on your region (e.g., EU/UK, California), you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA; we honor valid requests free of charge.
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After deletion requests, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or security reasons.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be highlighted in the App; continued use after changes are posted indicates acceptance.
